A prestigious international conference is being held in UWED

On June 23-26, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy is hosting a prestigious international conference in partnership with the Central Eurasian Studies Society and the European Society for Central Asian Studies.

The event is attended by about 250 scientists and experts in the field of political science, international relations, economics, finance, law, history, anthropology, cultural studies, religious studies, education, media studies, sociology and other areas, representing more than 30 countries of the world, including Central Asian states, USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, India, Pakistan and others.

The conference discusses the historical development of Central Eurasia, the features of the culture and art of this vast region, the importance and direction of further transformation of the region as a whole, and Uzbekistan in particular.

In addition, the agenda will discuss such issues as ensuring security and stability in the region, developing economic potential, transit and logistics, as well as improving the legal framework in the countries of Central Asia. Attention deserves the special dynamics of reforms and transformations in Uzbekistan, the policy of good neighbourliness, which radically changed the regional processes in Central Asia.
