Abnormally cold weather is expected in the country from January 10 to 15

On 9 January this year, a cold air mass formed in the northern regions of the European part of Russia will start to enter the territory of Uzbekistan from the Volga region. On January 9-11, precipitation (rain and snow) will be observed in some parts of the country.

January 10-15, the weather is expected to be abnormally cold. Night temperature will be -12-17 C below zero and daytime temperatures will be -5-8 C below zero. Nighttime temperatures will be -17-22 C below zero in Ustyurt and some desert areas will be -25-27 C below zero and daytime temperatures will be -7-10 C below zero. In the south and Ferghana Valley, it is -5-10 degrees below zero at night and -2-5 degrees below zero during the day.
