Act of Humanity no longer applies to accused of sexual harassment

At today's plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, senators approved a law protecting women and children from violence.

This law, along with the establishment of severe penalties for various cases of violence against women and minors today, is aimed at preventing such negative situations.

In law:

-those accused of sexual harassment are not subject to parole, the punishment is not replaced by mitigation;

-the age limit for persons subjected to sexual violence is abolished;

-women and minors are prohibited from visiting certain places by a perpetrator of sexual violence;

-Persons who have committed sexual violence against minors are prohibited from educating children, engaging in activities that involve direct work with children.
