ADB and World Bank loans will be used to buy more than 653 electric buses

The government of Tashkent plans to attract loans from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank in order to purchase more than 653 electric buses by the end of 2025.
There are also reports that the first paid parking lots installed along the central streets will be launched after November 1, 2022.
In addition, the Samarkand Automobile Plant signed a contract for the delivery of 200 SAZ LE 60 low-floor buses, and 60 such buses have been delivered at the moment.
At the same time, work is being carried out on the establishment of paid parking lots on the roadsides of ten central streets, and the project is being implemented on the basis of public-private partnership.
