Advertising of products replacing breast milk banned

Article 35 of the new law “On advertising”, which will come into force on September 9 this year, established procedures for advertising biologically active additives and food additives that are added to food.

According to the law, this is in advertising of products:

Not giving the impression that "they are drugs or they have healing properties”;
Not to give an example of specific cases when people were treated as a result of application, their condition improved;
The fact that they do not include a declaration of gratitude expressed by the individuals who applied them;
Lack of motivation to refuse a healthy diet;
The fact that studies on biologically active and food additives have been carried out, as well as references to the facts of state registration, as well as the use of them in the form of direct recommendations, do not give the impression of their advantage over drugs;
Children's image should not be used in advertising for biologically active additives that are prohibited for consumption by minors.
Advertising of biologically active additives and food additives that are added to food must necessarily provide a warning that they are not a drug.

It is also impossible to conduct incentive promotions on advertising such products. And with Article 36 of this law, advertising of products replacing breast milk was also banned.
