Afghan girls were allowed to participate in high school graduation exams

According to official sources from the Taliban government, it was allowed to take high school graduation exams this week for teenage girls in Afghanistan.

According to the relevant documents to the Taliban Ministry of Education, disclosed by the US Agency Associated Press, the decision will concern 31 of the 34 regions of Afghanistan.

Three limited provinces-Kandahar, Hilmand and Nimroz-have a different schedule for the school year, according to which high school graduation exams will be held later.

The head of the Kabul Education Department, Ehsanullah Kitab, said that the exams will take place today on Wednesday, December 7th. It is not yet known how many girls can take the exam.

Students and their female teachers will have to wrap a headscarf or headscarf in the Taliban's dress code for women, the use of mobile phones is prohibited during the exam. Girls who could not or could not take the exam are allowed to take the exam again in mid-March after the winter holidays.
