Afghanistan tightens control of the press

Khaama Press reports that the Afghan government will change the journalism curriculum.

It is noted that students are now taught to be "devoted to the motherland". What the innovation will look like is unknown.

It is also noted that the Afghan government has said it will not allow the media to become a "propaganda tool against the current regime and Islam".
