Afghanistan's neighboring countries have called on the Taliban to create an inclusive government

On April 13, the fourth ministerial meeting of Afghanistan's neighboring states was held in Samarkand under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side. The event was attended by the heads of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and China.
During the forum, the parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, the fulfillment by the current officials of this country of the basic requirements of the world community – the creation of an inclusive government, ensuring access of Afghan women to work and education, as well as the rights of national minorities.
The importance of strengthening the measures of Afghanistan's neighboring states in the fight against international terrorism, drug production and smuggling was emphasized.
