Alternative energy equipment will be installed in social facilities

The meeting took into consideration the magnitude of the gradual installation of alternative energy equipment in social facilities. Officials have been instructed to allocate at least 15 percent of the Investment Program's funds for the installation of such devices next year.
By the end 2022, solar panels and water heaters will be introduced in 2,107 kindergartens, 1,000 schools, 1,071 family doctor's offices, polyclinics and hospitals, new medical centers in 1,000 mahallas, 200 sanatoriums and other recreational facilities.
Moreover, from 2023, the followings will use alternative energy in 25% of hot water consumption and outdoor lighting:
shopping and entertainment complexes, parks, restaurants, hotels;
supermarkets, shops, markets, warehouses;
gas and petrol stations;
airports, railway and bus stations;
private educational and medical institutions;
commercial banks and their branches.
