The former First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade was appointed to the position of Assistant to the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Sunnatilla Bekenov was appointed to the position of assistant to the head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For information, Sunnatulla Bekenov was born in 1971 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

Until 2005, he worked as the general director of the state enterprise "Securities Depository of Uzbekistan". In 2005-2007, he worked as the Deputy Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan, the head of the Information and Analysis Department of the Cabinet of Ministers, in 2008-2009, the head of the Executive Office of the Cabinet of Ministers, and in 2009-2010, he worked as the Minister of Economy.

In 2010-2015, he worked as a manager of the executive apparatus of the Cabinet of Ministers. From 2015 to December 2016, he worked as the first deputy state adviser to the President on organizational and personnel issues. In December 2016, he was appointed first deputy of Minister of Economy Galina Saidova instead of Botir Khojaev.

In February 2018, he was appointed the first deputy chairman of the State Committee on Investments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in January 2019, he was appointed the first deputy of the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade [then minister Sardor Umrzakov].

In February 2018, he was appointed to the position of the first deputy chairman of the State Committee on Investments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and will work in this position until 2019. In January 2019, he will become the first deputy of the former Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Sardor Umrzakov.

From September 2019 to December 2020, he was the head of the State Asset Management Agency.
