An Indian billionaire has become the second richest person in the world

Indian tycoon Gautam Adani, who started the year on the 14th place in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, has a fortune of $146.9 billion, the largest amount after Elon Musk's fortune of $260 billion.
Shares of Adani Enterprises hit record highs this week. Bezos' fortune fell to $145.8 billion. Amazon shares are down more than 26 percent this year.
Adani overtook fellow countryman Mukesh Ambani as Asia's richest man in February, hit the $100 billion mark in April, and has overtaken Bill Gates and France's Bernard Arnault in the past two months.
It marks the first time an Asian billionaire has climbed to the top of a wealth index dominated by US tech entrepreneurs.
