An international seasonal resort introduction in Chimgan

On February 1, 2022, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a press conference on the implementation of the project to construct an international seasonal resort "Beldersoy-Chimgan-Nanay" and the presentation of the first major project for integrated development of Bostanlyk district in Tashkent region.

The event was participated by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Director of the Project Department of the State Unitary Enterprise "Beldersoy-Chimgan-Nanay" Sardor Mirakhmedov, representatives of the Directorate of Charvak TRZ, media and public figures.

During the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the French Republic, the project on construction of the international seasonal resort "Beldersoy-Chimgan-Nanay" is intended to build an international seasonal resort zone for 6,000 tourists.

It is planned to build more than 20 attractions (Zip line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, summer/winter Tubing) and 11 ski trails with a total length of 20 km in Chimgan.

The Chimgan Tourist Zone consists of three stations and is the highest narrow road in Central Asia at an altitude of 3309 m. The master plan and economic model of the complex have been developed by a consortium of French companies, which will be financed by the French treasury, foreign and domestic investments. The total investment in the project is currently $ 269 million US.

It is expected that the resort complex will receive the status of a free tourist zone "Charvak".
