Annual consultations with FDA - platform for development of constructive cooperation

Today, on January 31, the 4th annual consultations between the Government of Uzbekistan and the French Development Agency (FDA), organized with the participation of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, were held at the International Hotel Tashkent.

The main purpose of the event was to discuss progress in implementation of ongoing joint projects supported by FDA and identify promising initiatives that would contribute to sustainable development.

The event was attended by representatives of the French Development Agency, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Expertise France, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, as well as other relevant ministries, agencies and industry associations.

As reported during the event, the first stage of the technical meeting on 25-27 January discussed the current status of nine FDA projects worth 814 million euros, implemented in Uzbekistan in the field of solid waste management, development of green economy, livestock and public health.
