Apple has introduced its new iPad Pro tablets

Apple has reportedly unveiled its sixth-generation iPad Pro tablet without any presentation. The company's latest flagship tablet features the M2 chip, which has been released with 12.9-inch and 11-inch screens.

The compact 13-inch iPad Pro model features a display based on mini-LED technology, allowing the tablet to perform with improved contrast and more effective HDR. The smaller-screen model, on the other hand, has a simpler screen, but both support Apple's ProMotion, 120Hz refresh rate.

One notable update to the tablets is that their screen can now sense the Apple Pencil (at up to 12 millimetres closer), even when it's in the air. As for cameras, the tablets feature a 12-megapixel front-facing sensor (+FaceID). And there's a 12-megapixel and a 10-megapixel (ultra-wide-angle) camera on the back.

Wireless connectivity has also been improved with the sixth-generation iPad Pro, with the tablets now supporting Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and 5G.

It is noted that pre-orders for the Space Grey and Silver tablets, which are expected to go on sale from 26 October, have already started.
