As part of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Russia, a number of documents and agreements were signed

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Russia on November 19 at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Top-level talks were held in the Moscow Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin warmly greeted the leader of our country, congratulated him once again on his convincing victory in the last presidential election and wished him success in his future activities.
• “Uzbekistan is not just our closest neighbor, but also an ally - this is how we treat Uzbekistan,” the President of Russia noted. - This is a large regional country with which we are connected by a lot - both historically and today.
The head of our state thanked the President of Russia for the invitation and warm welcome.
I especially want to note that in recent years there has been a breakthrough in our relations - we have never had such indicators. And, as you said, the trade turnover is growing: by the end of nine months it has already reached 5 billion, by the end of the year it will be 7 billion. There has never been such a figure in our relations.
Following the talks, the Presidents adopted a Joint Statement on Cooperation in the Field of International Information Security. In general, within the framework of the visit, 18 bilateral documents were signed.
