On September 21, 2021, a Senate delegation visited the Kyrgyz Republic. A meeting was held with the toraga of the Jokorgu Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov.
During the meeting, issues of developing political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
As the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis T. Narbaeva noted, open and trusting relations between the heads of our states constitute a solid foundation of consistently positive dynamics of mutual cooperation in all areas.
It was noted that over the past 4 years, mutual trade has grown more than 5 times and last year exceeded $ 900 million.
Toraga of the Jokorgu Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Mamytov emphasized that on the initiative of the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis T. Narbaeva, close relations have been established between women-deputies and women-leaders of the region.
The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh agreed that they would take exhaustive measures to implement all the agreements that were reached during the negotiations between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
