At the regular meeting of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held under the chairmanship of Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva, it was decided to convene the 35th plenary session of the Senate on November 18, 2022.

As already noted, the next plenary session is planned to discuss a number of issues.

Among them are the results of the autumn session of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, held on October 27-28, 2022 in Samarkand, the laws "On introduction of changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On state duty", "On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "On guarantees of equal rights and opportunities for women and men

In the framework of regular plenary session it is also planned to consider laws "On ratification of Treaty of Izmir (Izmir, September 14, 1996)" and "On ratification of military framework agreement between the government of Republic of Uzbekistan and government of Republic of Turkey (Tashkent, March 29, 2022)".

The plenary session provides for consideration of issues on the election of the deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as on the approval of decisions of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis.
