At the Samarkand summit, which opened a new page in the history of the SCO, the head of state put forward a number of proposals

Today, the eyes of the whole world are focused on ancient Samarkand. The attention of not only the representatives of the national mass media, but also the journalists of the whole world was focused on the SCO summit, and the main topic of all online platforms was directed to the coverage of the summit proceedings. We are sure that today's date will go down in history and serve as a solid foundation for new opportunities.

At this summit, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward a number of proposals for the development and strong relations of the SCO countries:

Formation of a common field of industrial and technological cooperation on the basis of starting a new economic dialogue of the SCO;
Conducting business partnership week of SCO regions in Uzbekistan;
Establishing an alliance of special economic zones of the SCO countries;
In 2023, holding the first meeting of the heads of administrations of SCO special zones in Samarkand;
Annually holding a large trade fair of the SCO countries and creating a single electronic platform based on it;
Development of general principles and approaches to ensure food safety within the SCO;
Holding an international conference on food safety in 2023;
Organization of the interregional interdependence center in Tashkent with the support of the UN;
Holding the first SCO Transport Forum in Uzbekistan in 2023;
Establishment of the SCO Climate Council;
To hold annual meetings of the SCO RATS Council to assess the situation in the SCO countries;
Creation of a platform to combat cybercrime;
Establishment of a special fund for humanitarian support to Afghanistan in the city of Termiz;
Establishment of additional formats within the framework of the SCO (University rectors' forum, days of culture and tourism, joint sports events and universiades);
Implementation of digital platforms for intercultural communication (Virtual museums, scientific video conferences);
Declaring 2023 as the Year of Tourism Development in the SCO.
