Authority to extend winter holidays in schools and kindergartens given to regional administrations

The authority to extend or not to extend the winter break period in pre-school, general education, secondary special, vocational and higher education establishments is territorial in nature, the Ministry of Pre-School and School Education has said.

The Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decree to this effect.
