«Azal Airlines» launches flights from Baku to Samarkand

Azerbaijan's airline Azal launches flights to Samarkand. The first flight on Baku-Samarkand route is expected on 5 October.

Regular flights on the route are scheduled twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays by Airbus A320.

Also a ceremony of reception of the first flight with the participation of representatives of the Hokimiyat, the Azerbaijani diaspora in Uzbekistan, airlines of Uzbekistan Airports, Air Marakanda and Azal is planned in Samarkand international airport.

P.S. Azerbaijan Airlines (Azal), founded in 1992, is a major airline and one of the leaders in the aviation community of the CIS countries, with a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. Notably, Samarkand will become the second city in Uzbekistan, where Azerbaijan Airlines will perform flights. Regular flights from Baku to Tashkent are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays.
