Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan may start joint car production

It is reported that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan intend to begin joint production of cars. According to Emin Mammadzoda, a leading researcher at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, this issue will be discussed at the first Uzbek-Azerbaijani inter-regional forum.

"The automobile plant has long operated in Uzbekistan and exports to many countries. The demand for cars has grown in Azerbaijan. Naturally, the joint production of cars has great prospects, and this issue will be discussed at the upcoming inter-regional forum," Mammadzoda said.

P.S. The forum will be held in Tashkent on 23-24 February. The 3rd meeting of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Business People Council will be held there as well.
