Aziz Abdukhakimov discussed issues of cooperation with Japan in the fields of tourism, sports and education

As part of the visit of the government delegation to Japan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov met with President of the University of Tsukuba Nagata Kyosuke.

During the negotiations, the progress of the implementation of joint projects and the prospects for expanding cooperation in the near future were considered. Cooperation with Japan will be carried out in the fields of education, tourism and sports.

It was emphasized that the circle of partner universities from both sides will consistently expand, new areas of interaction will appear, major scientific projects are being implemented jointly. The leadership of the Japanese university also noted its readiness to cooperate with the International University of Tourism «Silk Road». Moreover, the parties discussed the issue of participation of Uzbek students in grant programs of the University of Tsukuba.

K. Nagata, accepting the invitation to participate in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan as an observer, expressed his sincere gratitude for such an honor, assuring that he would take all measures to participate in them.
