Bentley starts to manufacture 5 types of electric cars from 2025

Unlike its primary competitor, the Rolls-Royce, Bentley has announced that it will not stop at a single electric car. The UK luxury carmaker has announced big plans to electrify. Bentley has declared it will release five electric car models from 2025 onwards. Earlier, Bentley publicized its entry into the electric car segment. The brand has divulged that it will launch its world’s first rechargeable luxury car in 2025.
"The world is changing and we need to contribute to reduce human impact on the environment. That means that by 2030, we should have completely given up on carbon” said Adrian Hallmark, chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors.
The automaker has reported plans to invest $ 3.4 billion US over the next decade. The electric cars will be manufactured at Bentley's Crew plant in the UK. This plant will also be reconfigured to create an electric vehicle assembly line in the long run. To this end, Bentley will expand on-site power generation and escalate the number of solar panels from 30,000 to 40,000 over the next two years.
