Bill Gates: Robotisation of factories and plants will be realised in the next 5-10 years

In an interview with Forbes magazine, Microsoft founder Bill Gates said he was "amazed" by the latest advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and gave his thoughts on the future of artificial intelligence.
"AI will change the labour market as we know it... Autonomous cars are a very complex technology, but the robotisation of factories and plants will be realised in the next 5-10 years," Bill Gates said.
But the Microsoft founder said he did not believe AI could be "a maths teacher for students in poor areas" or "give medical advice to people in Africa who cannot see a doctor because of their remote location".
