BMB Trade Group representatives held negotiations with German businessmen in Berlin

Chairman of supervisory board of BMB Trade Group Company Bekzod Mamatkulov met with representatives of German business circles on November 1 this year with assistance of Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany.

During talks with Reinhold Ungern-Sternberg, chief business manager of German Association of Small and Medium Businesses (BVMW), issues of strategic partnership in building up mutual trade volumes between companies of both countries and organizing joint events with participation of German business circles interested in imports of Uzbek products were discussed. A delegation of BVMW is to pay a visit to Uzbekistan in the nearest future for preparation and implementation of practical measures within cooperation.

Following the meeting with representatives of Blumental Bayern GmbH, arrangements have been achieved to import large supplies of dried fruits and medicinal herbs including saffron to markets of the United States as well as European states. Besides, it is planned to work out a joint investment project on production of saffron-added medication of saffron brand BMB Za'faron.

The sides also discussed in detail with Ernst Wastler, chairman of VAMED AG, a renowned German company, the implementation of joint projects in medical sphere, as well as prospects of establishing a network of medical clinics in Uzbekistan. A delegation of partners will visit Uzbekistan in the first half of December to thoroughly elaborate on the joint project.

Delegation of BMB Trade Group Company together with Per Brodersen, director of German Agribusiness Alliance, have elaborated a wide range of strategic partnership issues on implementation of projects on involvement of innovative technologies from leading German producers in agricultural projects of Uzbekistan, as well as strengthening ties between representatives of business circles of both countries.

On the whole, the talks laid a solid foundation for further expansion of opportunities for implementation of Uzbek-German agribusiness projects.
