Business entities will be inspected for their use of energy resources

The Decree of the President "On measures for uninterrupted provision of consumers with gasoline in the autumn-winter period and prevention of a sharp rise in its prices" was adopted.

According to the Decree, from December 10, 2022 through March 1, 2023, by way of exception, it has been decided to apply zero rate of excise tax to AI-80 gasoline, imported, produced by domestic enterprises and sold by business entities to consumers.

Also, from December 10, 2022 to April 1, 2023 it is allowed to carry out checks of business entities on the facts of illegal and inefficient use of energy resources without interference in their financial and economic activities, without the consent of the Commissioner for protection of rights and legitimate interests of business entities under the President.

Based on the results of the conducted inspections, submissions are made to law enforcement bodies to apply the penalties established by the acts of legislation to the officials who allowed excessive losses and theft of motor gasoline, as well as a legal assessment of their activities.
