Business forum with the participation of Uzbekistan-Thuringia businessmen

Today, on September 30, business forum, bilateral meetings in the format "B2B" and "B2G" were held with the participation of Uzbekistan-Thuringia business circles and ministries and agencies at the International Hotel Tashkent.

The event was organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Thuringia Economic Development Agency (LEG) and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany.

It should be noted that from September 29 to October 1, 2022, the first visit of a delegation of businessmen from the German federal state of Thuringia to Uzbekistan was made. It is noted that the German delegation includes about 20 representatives of German firms and companies, scientific research and educational institutions.

The forum was hosted by the first deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov, the German ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan Dr. Tillo Kinner and Arnulf Wolff, executive director for investment, external relations and cluster development of the Thuringian Economic Development Agency, opened with an introduction.

The purpose of organizing the event is to develop cooperative foreign economic relations, as well as to strengthen relations between entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and the Federal Territory of Thuringia.
