By the end of the year, 20,000 hectares of arable land will be distributed to the population

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is chairing a video selector meeting on the issue of ensuring the stability of the prices of basic food products and creating reserves.
"Due to sudden changes in climate and drought in many countries, the world is facing a food shortage.
Due to the international situation, disruption of global production chains, problems in logistics, many countries are imposing restrictions on the export of food products.
Governors of regions, districts and cities must calculate their opportunities to fully satisfy domestic demand and increase exports in such conditions.
However, many governors still do not understand this," said the head of state at the beginning of his speech.
This year, 80,000 hectares of cotton and grain were cut and distributed to the population. According to the President's decision signed today, another 20,000 hectares of arable land will be distributed to the population by the end of the year. Next year, 100,000 hectares of arable land will be allocated to the population on a selection basis. Due to this, conditions will be created for employment of 1 million 200 thousand inhabitants.
