Can the houses under construction in Uzbekistan withstand earthquakes?

The Ministry of construction and housing and communal services noted that the construction will be designed according to the established seismic score of the territory (7, 8, 9) with a planned layout. In the documents received by the examination authorities, the project estimate documentation of the object, the conclusion of a comprehensive examination are obtained.
"Chapter 5, Article 26 of the Urban Planning Code establishes functional obligations in construction control. At the same time, the subjects of urban planning activities are strictly controlled by the preparation for construction and the development of urban planning documents and the implementation of construction and installation, commissioning, adjustment work. Also, during the period of acceptance of the object for use, compliance with the legislation on urban planning and the requirements of the norms and rules of urban planning is checked.
During the construction of objects, it is required to have state control over the construction, technical control of the customer, author's control of the developer and internal control of the contractor. According to the established legislation, construction and installation work is suspended in cases where constructive violations are identified that affect the earthquake tolerance of buildings and structures, as well as threaten the life and health of a citizen. At the same time, dismantling work is required to be carried out.
If poor-quality building materials, structures and objects were used, submissions are sent to the relevant state bodies and organizations about the suspension of their production, realization and application.
In these processes, inspections are carried out by the Control Inspectorate in construction in the order of state control with the participation of representatives of local executive authorities, non-profit organizations, experts of scientific, technical and research organizations.
