Can the houses under construction in Uzbekistan withstand earthquakes?

The Ministry of construction and housing and communal services noted that the construction will be designed according to the established seismic score of the territory (7, 8, 9) with a planned layout. "Chapter 5, Article 26 of the Urban Planning Code establishes functional obligations in construction control. At the same time, dismantling work is required to be carried out.

If poor-quality building materials, structures and objects were used, submissions are sent to the relevant state bodies and organizations about the suspension of their production, realization and application.

In these processes, inspections are carried out by the Control Inspectorate in construction in the order of state control with the participation of representatives of local executive authorities, non-profit organizations, experts of scientific, technical and research organizations.
