Car import more than doubled

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-April 2022, Uzbekistan imported 12,017 cars worth $ 280.4 million US from 21 foreign countries.

Imports of passenger cars boosted by 6,113 or 2 times compared to the same period last year.

Production of Lacetti-Gentra proliferated by 2.2 times compared to the same period last year.
