China has opened the first airport in Asia and the fourth in the world specializing in cargo transportation

Equipped with a 23,000 square meter cargo terminal, nearly 700,000 square meter cargo transit center, 124 parking lots and two runways, the new Ezhou Huaxu Airport is designed to increase the efficiency of air cargo transportation.
The Boeing 767-300 cargo plane took off at 11:36 a.m. on Sunday from Ezhou Huahu Airport in central China's Hubei province. It marked the official start of China's first dedicated cargo airport.
In addition to cargo flights, the airport also serves passenger flights. By 2025, it is planned to open 10 international cargo and 50 domestic routes at the airport, and the volume of cargo and mail shipments will reach 2.45 million tons.
