Close attention from businesses in major US IT cities towards changes in Uzbekistan

Javlon Vakhobov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, held negotiation with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former Mayor of San Diego (California) Jerry Sanders to establish practical cooperation.
The American side was briefed on the ongoing reforms in our country to liberalize the economy, create a favorable investment climate, as well as develop human capital to ensure the competitiveness and innovative development of the country.
It was stated that the business climate in the sector of innovative development has proliferated dramatically in recent years, with successful startup projects developing. The United States emphasized the tremendous progress made in safeguarding macroeconomic stability and streamlining processes for the transfer of commodities, capital, labor resources, and services.
What is more, he mentioned that the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, which integrates over 2,500 American companies, is interested in establishing partnerships with local companies to implement joint business projects.
At the end of the conference, an agreement was reached on assistance to the American side in establishing direct contacts between business circles of the US and Uzbekistan, as well as on study of a number of investment projects in our country and the onset of practical collaboration.
