Complaint against hokim who forced fasting farmers to drink water filed to General Prosecutor's Office

A farmers' council has complained to the Prosecutor General's Office about the actions of Asrol Boykoraev, head of the Koson District Administration, who allegedly forced fasting farmers to drink water. The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported that.
Human rights activist Abdurahmon Tashanov wrote on his Facebook page that on March 31 at about 3 p.m. the district hokim who had convened the meeting, angrily spoke about the problems in agriculture, after which he ordered to bring water to the meeting hall and forced the fasting farmers to drink water.
"Then he ordered his servants to bring water to the hall. "You are fasting and walking so modestly. And who will work?" - said the khokim, ordering the fasting farmers to drink water. With this work, the hokim of Koson broke the record of the hokim who brought down farmers to water and introduced our country to the world," he wrote on his page.
It is noted that the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Zafar Mustafakulov, has sent a letter of appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office. He referred to Article 31 of the Constitution and Article 4 of the Law on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations.
Also, in view of the above, practical assistance was requested to consider the application of an act of prosecutorial control over the governor's actions.
The Prosecutor General's Office has begun investigating the situation.
