Covid tourism in Spain

Before the Easter holidays, thousands of Germans go to the Balearic Islands. On Saturday 60 planes from Germany landed in "Palma de Mallorca", and 70 on Sunday. Queues accumulate in the areas of the airport where testing is carried out, evronews.com notes.
The holiday mood is not darkened even by the mandatory testing at their own expense for those who return from vacation to Germany.
At the same time, both tourists and tourism sector workers note the paradox of the situation: Germans cannot travel in their own country due to coronavirus restrictions, but they can go abroad. And in Spain the situation is the same: Germans are allowed on the islands, but the Spaniards are not allowed here.
