Debts arising as a result of increased taxes on unused objects were written off

The Presidential decree "On write-off of the tax debt resulting from the application of the effective tax mechanism" was adopted.

According to the decree, on the property tax and land tax resulting from the effective tax mechanism applied to the owners of unused properties at increased rates:

the existing tax debt is written off;
judicial and enforcement proceedings related to tax debt recovery will be terminated.
In the period from July 1, 2022 until the entry into force of this Decree, the tax collected as a result of the effective tax mechanism will be returned to the owners at the expense of future payments.

We remind you that from July 1, 2022, property tax and land tax will be increased on vacant buildings, unused production areas, non-residential structures, unfinished construction objects and land occupied by these objects. the procedure for applying rates, suspending tax benefits and preferences has been canceled.
