Delegation of German businessmen to visit our country

From September 29 to October 1 this year, a delegation of businessmen from the German federal state of Thuringia will visit Uzbekistan for the first time. The German delegation comprised representatives of about 20 German firms and companies, research and educational institutions.

For reference. The Free State of Thuringia (in German Freistaat Thüringen) - one of 16 federal states of Germany. The country is home to 2.1 million citizens. Gross domestic product of the region is 61.5 billion euros. It has a well-developed industry (production of chemicals, food, cars, automotive components and various equipment), transport and logistics services, science, various clusters and innovation parks.

During the visit it is planned to organize business forum and meetings in B2B format with participation of businessmen of two countries, which is organized at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Economic Development Agency of Thuringia (LEG) and the Embassy of our country in Germany.

Besides, negotiations are planned in the ministries of investment and foreign trade, labor and labor relations, higher and secondary special education, khokimiyat of Tashkent and a number of other associations and organizations.

The visit will conclude with visits to historical monuments of the city of Samarkand and the International Tourism Center "Buyuk Ipak yuli" and "Boqiy shahar", created on the initiative of the President.
