Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan was elected Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank Group

For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, a representative of our country, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov was elected Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group - the highest governing body of the bank. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

Let us remind you that earlier, in October last year, S. Umurzakov was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
