Draupadi Murmu is the second woman President of India

Draupadi Murmu won the election with 64.03 percent votes. Draupadi Murmu will take over as President of India after the term of the current President Ram Nath Singh ends on July 25.
Draupadi Murmu was nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party from the National Democratic Alliance. D. Murmu's candidacy was supported by several opposition parties of the country, which ensured his victory in the elections.
