Ensuring inclusion for children with disabilities

Today, November 19, the International Web Forum “Ensuring Inclusion for Children with Disabilities” was held, organized jointly by the Zamin Foundation and the United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF. This event is timed to coincide with World Children's Day, which is celebrated annually at the global level on November 20, as well as the 75th anniversary of UNICEF.

The event was attended by representatives of national institutions, civil society, heads of UN agencies, experts from international and regional organizations, foreign public funds, the diplomatic corps in Uzbekistan, as well as children and young people.

International experts at the forum shared their best practices in creating inclusive communities. Participants also discussed the creation and improvement of accessible, inclusive, rights-based and age-appropriate public services that support children, women and men with disabilities and help prevent institutionalization.
