Equipment for Central Asia's largest wind farm imported from China

"Masdar of the UAE and Goldwind of China have reached an agreement to supply 111 turbines for the wind farm under construction in the Tomda district of the Navoi region. Accordingly, wind turbines and generators for the wind farm under construction in Uzbekistan are being brought from Lanzhou, China, by special trucks.
This power plant will be commissioned at the end of 2023 and is expected to be the largest wind power plant in Central Asia.
Once fully operational, the wind farm will produce 1 billion 800 million kWh of electricity per year. As a result, 540 million cubic metres of natural gas will be saved and the emission of 720 thousand tonnes of harmful gases into the atmosphere will be avoided.
