Erdogan has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize

Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Mustafa Sentop says President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Mustafa Sentop met with parliamentary journalists in Ankara. In a statement on the subject, Shentop noted President Erdogan's efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, which has been ongoing since February 24, and said: "I have applied for Mr President's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Speakers and MPs of different parliaments will also apply (for it)," he said.
