Erdogan: so far, we have received assistance offers from 70 countries and 14 international organizations

"So far, we have received assistance offers from 70 countries and 14 international organizations. We communicated with 18 heads of state and government by telephone. I would like to thank the heads of state and government for their support and assistance in a difficult time for our country," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Recall that on February 7, the Turkish government announced additional measures necessary to quickly eliminate the consequences of the earthquake and provide assistance to those in need. Also, the Turkish leader announced that at the first stage he immediately allocated 100 billion pounds ($5.3 billion) for the organization of emergency assistance and support events.
It was also noted that, starting from places close to the disaster zone, the necessary plans were being developed to provide hotels.
