Exports in Kashkadarya region are expected to amount to 280 million dollars

At the meeting, the Hokim of Kashkadarya region said that production in industrial sector made up 15 trillion sums, per one person-4.4 million sums, the employed population in the sector is about 44.8 thousand people.

In 2023, due to implementation of huge projects in driving sectors it is expected to bring these indicators up to 24 trillion sums, 6.3 million sums and 45.2 thousand people respectively.

In 2022, 844 investment projects worth $1.9 billion US will be implemented. As a result, 12,400 jobs will be created.

In 2023, 769 investment projects worth 3.4 billion US dollars are expected to be implemented, which will create 13,186 jobs, increase production by 2.9 trillion sums, budget revenues by 712 billion sums, exports by 165 million dollars and import substitution by 110 million dollars.

The region's exports are expected to increase by 26% and reach 280 million US dollars in 2022. In 2023 the figure is planned to reach 400 million dollars.
