Families who have saved electricity in Britain will receive a cash prize

The British company National Grid intends to attract customers to reduce electricity consumption in the fall-winter season. In this, the population is given a monetary reward for saving electricity. This system will be launched from September.
It is reported that for a three-hour period from 17:00 to 20:00, households that stopped using electricity planned to pay 6 pounds for each kilowatt-hour, that is, up to 7 dollars.
The company's employees are asking people with smart meters to use less than washing machines, dryers and similar devices that require electricity.
Those responsible are in a hurry to set up this system by the end of October, as a lot of residents are at home in the fall-winter season and electricity is used more at this time.
"We are developing a new service that will benefit consumers this winter and will soon announce additional information," said a representative of the National Network.
