Family business "Mehrigiyo"

As part of the ongoing infotour, the participants visited the family business "Mehrigiyo" in the Uchkuprik district.
Lavender, rosemary, rare roses, bananas, kiwi and coffee trees are grown on a 24-hectare plantation in the Namangan region. Various medicines, teas and perfumes are prepared for medical purposes on plantations and in greenhouses. More than 200 hives produce lavender-infused honey.
Now the products of the trademark "Mehrigiyo" are in demand in Russia and neighboring countries. Since this year, agreements have also been signed with the United States and Saudi Arabia.
It is worth noting that 180 people work in the family business. Depending on the season, another 150 to 300 employees will be employed.
The venue aroused great interest among the members of the delegation. During the conversations, they learned about many other features of the products grown here.
