Flooding possible in Uzbekistan

Uzhydromet has provided urgent information. According to it, on 14-18 February this year on the territory of Uzbekistan there will be precipitation, on 14-16 February the wind will increase to 15-20 m/sec.

Also, the report said that in light of the expected heavy rains on 14-18 February, warning of the possible occurrence of mudflow floods in the piedmont and mountainous areas of the country, including: Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzak, Namangan, Ferghana, Andijan and Tashkent regions.

In addition, citizens living in the foothills and mountainous areas, holidaymakers and drivers travelling in mountainous areas are asked to take precautionary measures through announcements.
