Football World Cup trophy arrived in Tashkent

FIFA World Cup trophy was delivered to Tashkent airport by private jet Gulfstream G600, which flew from Beirut (Lebanon).

The trophy, which flew out from Beirut on a private flight, arrived in Tashkent. It was met by Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov, Tashkent khokim Jahongir Artykhojaev, First Vice President of Football Association of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov, Head of Coca-Cola representative office in Uzbekistan Serkan Murat Dilek, representatives of Uzbekistan Airports and others, pursuant to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

Reportedly, the cup, awarded to winners of FIFA World Cup held by FIFA, was brought to Tashkent for the second time.

The trophy was brought to the country as part of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour 2022, held by Coca-Cola.

Today, June 6, in the building of the Tashkent City Congress Hall there will be a public display of the trophy. World champions are expected to attend the event:

Christian Karembeu (world champion 1998);

Carles Puyol (world champion 2010).
