On the eve of the Navruz holiday, AKFA Group supported the greening program and took part in the Yashil makon project.
As part of the nationwide campaign, an exhibition of ornamental trees Yashil makon was organized in the capital, initiated by the khokimiyat of Tashkent and the Main Department of Urban Improvement of Tashkent. The purpose of the action is to improve the ecological situation and air quality in the city.
More than 150 interested organizations and companies, including AKFA Group, took part in the exhibition.
On March 19, the management and employees of the company planted several trees along the Afrosiab street of the Mirabad district.
“For us, participation in environmental campaigns is part of the sustainable development strategy. We hope that such a large-scale project will unite the population of the country, and the annual planting of trees will become a good tradition for all citizens,” said Kamran Gulamov, CEO of AKFA Group.
As part of the Yashil makon initiative, 10,000 trees were planted along the central and busy streets of Tashkent from 10 to 20 March. The process was carried out under the supervision of local and foreign experts.
Environmental initiatives have long been firmly established in the company's practice.
