From May 1, if administrative fines are paid within 15 days, a 50 percent discount will be applied

On April 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Law on Amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility. According to the amendment to Article 332-1 of the Code, if the offender voluntarily pays 50% of the fine or 70% of the fine within 15 days from the date of the decision to impose a fine on him, he shall be exempted from paying the rest of the fine.

The simplified procedure for the execution of the decision on the imposition of a fine shall not be applied in the following cases:

• In case of offenses provided for in Articles 131, 132, 136 and 140 of the Code;

• when appealing or protesting the decision to impose a fine;

• when the same offense is repeated within 1 year after the application of the administrative penalty.

The law will enter into force on May 1, 2023.
