Germany allocates a preferential loan to Uzbekistan for the digitalization of healthcare

The state German bank KfW announced the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan on the provision of a preferential loan for 45 million euros and a grant for 5.5 million euros.

The money is allocated to support digital reforms to improve the quality and efficiency of medical services. These reforms include measures to introduce a national platform to improve data processing and sharing, as well as streamlining the digital infrastructure of health management and its administrative processes.
